I have known Jan for several years and she has been very active in her Community Watch Program. She keeps an eye out for problems and disseminates valuable information to her neighbors. I have also seen her teaching art classes to kids and her love and patience with them is so admirable. Thank you Jan for all that you do for the community.

Jan Stumbo has had a profound impact on children's lives. Recently, as our church hosted Ike Evacuees, Jan volunteered her time and energy to provide art classes for the children. We saw this to be therapeutic and encouraging to the kids. Jan has a servant's heart and sweet demeanor. She has a unique ability to connect with children and youth. If there ever was a defenition of a hero you would fall under that section,helping the kids that dont have much to offer and doing it out of the love in your heart.when i see you helping the kids with art i can tell they enjoy it alot.you have inspierd me.when i am older i want me and you to open a coffee shop and a art gallery togather.i love you jan love chase
